Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-08-08T03:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-08-08T03:23:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: N20E10
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
DFLR: Double ribbon flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: CME observed to the N/NW in SOHO LASCO C2 and not yet in LASCO C3 before a DSN gap begins at 2026-08-08T05:00Z, to the N/NW in GOES CCOR-1 but heavily obscured by the pylon, and best to the NE in STEREO A COR2. The source is a filament erupton in the north central disk; the full eruption spanning approximately N28E35 to N08W00, centered ~N20E10. Observed as the filament ejecta and double ribbon flare in SDO AIA 304 first lifting around 2026-08-08T00:48Z and fully erupting at 2026-08-08T02:10Z, and as a prominence on the NE limb of STEREO A EUVI 195/304. Also observed in SDO AIA 171/193/304 as dimming and field line movement, and a brief post eruptive arcade.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
